As an ERP Support Specialist at Optimum Consulting, you will have the opportunity to lead projects and drive technological innovation. You will be part of an exciting journey, working with our client to make effective utilisation of their current ERP and work on exciting projects for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation with Microsoft Business Central & Office 365: Support and introduce new features within Microsoft Business Central ERP and Office 365, ensuring all Office 365 products are utilized to their full potential.
  • Challenge the status quo: Constantly seek ways to enhance efficiency by leveraging the latest technology solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally: Work with various teams to improve processes and procedures by integrating technology into everyday operations.
  • Maximize system capabilities: Extend and fully leverage existing systems, such as integrating Microsoft Outlook with Business Central for Sales, AI-driven integrations, and setting up online ordering/customer portals.
  • Lead staff training: Empower teams by training them on the latest technological advancements and helping them implement these solutions.
  • Liaison between MSP & IT development: Act as a crucial communication point between the IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and the internal team to ensure smooth infrastructure and system support.
  • Project manage IT rollouts: Oversee IT development projects, including introducing scanning/barcoding across multiple warehouse and trade centers.
  • Manage IT infrastructure: Keep a strategic eye on company IT, telecommunications, hardware/software systems, costs, licenses, and agreements in collaboration with the MSP.
  • Support mobile and on-site teams: Assist with internal device management and ensure smooth integration and functionality of Windows, iOS, and Android-based devices.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central ERP, Dynamics NAV or Navision ERP.
  • Experience with Office 365: Proficient in Excel, with Power BI knowledge being a plus.
  • Reporting knowledge: Experience with Phocas software for reporting is advantageous.
  • IT infrastructure & project management skills: Knowledge of finance, inventory, warehousing, and administration procedures, with a proven ability to manage IT developments and rollouts.
  • Technical savvy: Familiarity with a range of devices (Windows, iOS, Android) and willingness to assist with device setup and support.
  • Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel interstate to manage and assist in system implementation and staff training.
