Job Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned data solutions architect to design and implement efficient data access frameworks, ensuring seamless operations of our data pipelines.

This role will collaborate closely with researchers and cross-functional teams to drive forward our data strategy, enhancing and aligning our data capabilities.

As a key player in our Sydney office, you'll be responsible for leading projects autonomously, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality results.

About the Role:
  • Develop bespoke software components for data pipelines, leveraging expertise in Python and system languages (e.g. C++, Rust).
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines using distributed data processing techniques.
  • Collaborate with global research and data platform teams to productionize workflows, optimize large-scale data processing, and manage infrastructure costs efficiently.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with system languages (e.g. C++, Rust) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of distributed data processing and building robust data pipelines.
  • Excellent project leadership skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
