About This Opportunity

This is an exciting chance for someone who can bring strong full cycle platform engineering expertise with a focus on learning and developing new skills across cyber security and security engineering.

You will drive the delivery of complex automation and resilience initiatives across our organisation's infrastructure—spanning both cloud and on-premises environments—to safeguard platforms, data, and digital assets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Platform observability and telemetry management
  • Embedding security and resilience practices into our engineering lifecycle

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed resilience and optimisation throughout the engineering lifecycle, championing innovation, operational excellence, and platform integrity.

What We're Looking For

  • Familiarity with the full cycle model, where engineers are involved in design, build, challenge and run
  • Possession of a passion for designing, developing, deploying and running high-quality software and platforms
  • Ability to write software and tooling that automates the operations of our platforms, infrastructure, environments, and tooling
  • Maintenance of underlying infrastructure to ensure it is reliable, secure and scalable
  • Automation of observability logs and metrics, including dashboard, monitoring and alerting
  • Familiarity with incident management, post-incident reviews, problem management

Tech Skills We Use

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. Experience or exposure to some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:

  • Full cycle platform engineering, including design, build, challenge and run
  • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD and automation tools
  • Scripting/programming languages, such as PowerShell, Bash and Python
  • Windows/Linux Server experience
  • Develop, deploy and manage platform services via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation, Ansible, Lambda)
  • Containerisation, virtualisation, and orchestration technologies - Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS etc.
  • Observability - Grafana, Prometheus
  • Hands-on experience with Cyberark or Ping Identity is desirable
