Home Care Support Role

This is a casual opportunity to provide personalized support to older individuals in their homes, allowing them to maintain independence and quality of life.

The role involves:

  • Providing domestic assistance such as light house cleaning and meal preparation
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring health and wellbeing
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Supporting clients with daily tasks and routines
  • Building positive relationships with clients and their families

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • A current First Aid Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)

You will be reimbursed 99 cents per kilometre travelled while working and have access to benefits, including Fitness Passport and discounts at selected retail outlets.
