About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to garden maintenance, including hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching. They will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively, under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
