About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in running national storage operations and managing export programs. You will be responsible for implementing ADM's internal operations in Australia, navigating our Grain Origination System (GOS), and ensuring the efficient execution of our export programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of ADM's internal operations in Australia
  • Navigate the ADM's Grain Origination System (GOS) and ensure efficient execution of export programs
  • Contract management and ensuring all sales contracts are accurate and up-to-date
  • Monitor inventory positions against forward contracts and coordinate with Domestic Logistics coordinators
  • Understand and comply with Port Loading Protocols for each bulk handler
  • Manage Container Team and packing agreements
  • Export documentation knowledge and experience
  • Understand and be involved in local and overseas reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with GTA/GAFTA trade rules, freight differentials, and grain quality specifications
  • Advance knowledge of Documentary Credits and banking channels
  • Assist Site Managers (internal and third-party) to ensure efficient bulk vessel loading
  • Assist the Managing Director with cost models as required
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record in managing national storage operations and export programs. You will have a degree in Agriculture, Commerce, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a similar field, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry.

You will have strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will also have experience in risk reporting, direct experience or exposure to a farming operation or grain storage and handling business, and a strong understanding of grain markets and agriculture industries.
