Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Visual Art/Drama Teacher to join our team.

The role is a Temporary Full Time position that will allow the successful candidate to make a significant impact on student learning outcomes.

Catholic Education prioritizes empowering students to become confident, agile and reflective learners.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Catholic Education principles and be able to effectively utilise assessment and relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes.
  • They will be able to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
  • A proven ability to demonstrate an innovative and agile mindset that supports and enhances a culture of continuous improvement within the school environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Stage 4 and 5 Visual Arts (Desirable), Stage 5 Drama (Desirable) and Stage 5 Photography and Digital Media (Desirable).

Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher, Active NESA Accreditation, Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number, Completion of anaphylaxis training and Completion of CPR training are required.

Conditions of Employment:

Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
