About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Specialist to join our team at Kirra Services. As a key member of our data architecture practice, you will play a critical role in advising and supporting our agency's project and BAU teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead data discovery, analysis, and design activities to drive business value and inform strategic technical direction.
  • Facilitate critical stakeholder contribution across business and technical disciplines to ensure effective data architecture solutions.
  • Design, test, and evolve data architecture artefacts, including data dictionaries, data catalogues, data access policies, and data models.
  • Plan and execute data load and migration activities to new and legacy solutions operating on a diverse range of technologies.
  • Work within an Agile (Scrum) SAFe Multi-Disciplinary team with minimum direction.
  • Participate in internal and external working groups to contribute to data-related discussions.
  • Articulate and champion business data needs to delivery teams.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated 5+ years' experience working as an Enterprise Data Architect/Analyst within an Azure cloud data ecosystem.
  • Formal qualifications in data architecture from a data science, data engineering, or data solutions engineering discipline.
  • A strong understanding of government policy and legislation pertaining to data capture, storage, use, and disposal.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to managing stakeholder engagement and delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile (Scrum) SAFe Multi-Disciplinary team with minimum direction.
  • Experience in the design, provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure cloud-based data platforms.
