Job Title: HSE Manager - Western Australia

Visy is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team in Western Australia. As a critical member of our health, safety, and environmental team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of HSE management systems, ensuring ISO standards are maintained, and coaching line managers to meet safety goals and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and promote the desired safety culture, values, and expected behaviours.
  • Drive the implementation of HSE management systems, ensuring ISO standards (45001, 14001) are maintained.
  • Coach and mentor line managers to meet safety goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate risk assessments, incident investigations (including ICAM), and corrective actions.
  • Oversee WHS training and ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Analyse and report HSE data to develop targeted improvement strategies.
  • Manage external audits and maintain accreditations.
Requirements:
  • A degree in WHS/OHS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HSE leadership role within manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive cultural change in safety practices.
  • Experience managing multiple sites and diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
