Overview
Front Office Manager PositionWe are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our team and oversee front office operations.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the front office department.
- Hire and train all front office staff.
- Oversee the setup and integration of technology such as property management system (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) system, and other software necessary for smooth operations.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication during pre-opening phases.
Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hotel operations, including supervising front office staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Team Leadership and Development
The Front Office Manager will lead a team of front office staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent customer service.
Tech Savviness
The ideal candidate will have experience with property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other software necessary for smooth hotel operations.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
- Three years of guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a management capacity.
- Demonstrated capability of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and passion for developing your team.
- Strategic thinking, ability to explore new ways of working, and open mind around driving the hotel forward.
- Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
