Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Professional

As a senior software engineering professional, you will lead the implementation of complex banking applications. Your role involves providing expert advice on technology, solution design and architecture, and managing dependencies with cross-functional teams.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to drive the development and deployment of scalable and secure software solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in banking and financial services in a complex environment.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.
  • Ability to build high-quality solutions while balancing security, performance, availability, and maintainability concerns.
  • Collaborative work style with expertise in design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation principles.

Tech Skills

Experience with designing and developing applications using C#, .NET Core, and databases (e.g., SQL Server, Aurora DB) is required. Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux or MobX) and hands-on experience with Cloud platforms – AWS or Azure – are also necessary.
