Job Description

Clinical Nurse Specialist Renal Service is responsible for delivering person-centered specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level. They will provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care.

This role involves using best practice evidence to develop and implement individualized person-centred care plans. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work collaboratively with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working in the clinical specialty and demonstrate competencies in knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing specialty nursing care.

Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy in clinical decision-making capabilities and leadership in the development of nursing specialty practice advancement is essential.

A commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills is also required, along with a willingness to apply and share professional expertise as a resource person and mentor others within the specialty.
