As a Business Director in the Radio Industry, you have the opportunity to drive business growth and success within our team at ARN.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead the effective running of three radio stations within our local market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a small-medium sized business, preferably within the radio and/or media industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of the market Plan on a Page (POAP) aligned to company plans, managing the market Profit and Loss (P&L) statement to ensure revenue targets are achieved, and providing strategic and day-to-day leadership of the market team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead execution of the market POAP aligned to company plans
  • Manage market P&L to ensure revenue targets are achieved and the market is operating profitably
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of the market team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A broad understanding of the media landscape, including radio, audio, digital, and other competing media in local markets
  • Financial numeracy and an understanding of Profit and Loss statements and other basic financial concepts
  • Experience building business plans and growing a business
  • A business degree desirable
