Experienced Salesforce Developer Required for Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will involve providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and recommending improvements while ensuring timely resolutions and adherence to best practices.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have proven experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, and support. Prior experience as a Salesforce Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role is highly desirable.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
- Incident Management: Provide 24x7 On Call support for P1 and P2 for L3 Platform Production issues, business hours for other issues; collaborate with other parties to resolve incidents, raise incidents towards other parties as needed and track to completion, escalate as needed to Salesforce Functional Leads, attend Post Incident Reviews on customer request.
- Problem Management: Raise Salesforce tickets, Manage Salesforce tickets and provide updates, work with other parties in DoH to resolve problems.
- Request Management: Triage Platform Requests via Azure DevOps Platform Front Door or applicable tool, action or assign as required. This includes performing data extracts.
- Configuration & Customization: Assist in configuring and customizing Salesforce to meet business requirements. Implement changes and updates based on evolving needs.
A key requirement of this role is the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and after-hours. You will also be required to participate in an on-call roster that requires you to be on call 24/7 for a 1-week period approx. every 6-8 weeks.
About the RoleThis is a contract position with an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. The ideal candidate will be a skilled Salesforce developer with strong technical knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce platform, Salesforce architecture, data model, and security. Proficiency in Salesforce tools, Apex, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, OmniStudio, and Lightning components is essential.
