As a Digital Commerce Expert, you will be part of our HomeRun team, responsible for powering the eCommerce growth of all Woolworths Group brands through exceptional customer experience and competitive economics.

Job Description

You will provide analytical capabilities to solve complex problems, break down work into manageable tasks, and support the broader Squad in delivering solutions to customer and business problems.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Product Manager in maintaining and optimising the initiative and epic product backlog in line with business prioritisation.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment focused on providing simple and ultra-convenient services for our customers, taking innovative approaches to solving complex, interesting problems while putting the customer experience first.
  • Collaborating with business and technical partners to understand customer and business problems, translating this into Epics/User Stories (e.g., functional or non-functional requirements) in partnership with squads.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong Agile delivery background and a passion for everything digital, eCommerce, or logistics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to story-tell and take stakeholders on the journey with you.
  • Lead and coordinate agile ceremonies with your squad, ensuring we continually optimise and improve our ways of working.
  • Strong skills in facilitating the breakdown of larger initiatives into smaller pieces of work, such as defining epics and breaking work down into stories with acceptance criteria, etc.
  • A track record of making the complex simple and working through ambiguity.
