Accounting and Credit Leadership

This role is a blend of managing client relationships, internal and external, staff, analysis and debt management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Set goals and KPIs for the team, mentor and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.
  • Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and operational direction to the credit team.
  • Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assessment: full control and director of the credit assessment process - approval of limits etc.
  • Collections: Discuss escalation of debt and referral and management of process with external parties

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Strong commercial credit background with previous Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager experience.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff, internal divisions, and external customers.
  • AICM Membership preferred
