Hospitality Training Expert

Eldercare is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in South Australia with 1800 employees.

We have a full-time opportunity for a Hospitality Services Educator to join our Learning and Development Team.

This role integrates contemporary information and evidence with organisational needs to develop and guide appropriate hospitality education.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver and assess Hospitality training programs in a range of settings.
  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments to meet the organisation's objectives.
  • Support the development, continuous improvements and review of training materials to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Incorporate key elements of Eldercare's Model of Care into education and training to enhance service delivery.
  • Evaluate e-learning packages and programs to ensure they meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in hospitality training and education, preferably in the aged care or healthcare sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications within hospitality, healthcare or education.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or prepared to undertake this qualification).
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering training and education within a health or aged care setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Experience working within the Aged Care sector an advantage.
  • Ability to travel to sites as required to deliver and assess training requirements.
