Civil Services Group is a specialist Civil Project Management and Delivery Company based in Queensland with a strong track record in delivering major projects.

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Roadworks Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' practical experience in 'Road Works Construction' and at least 2 years crew supervision of Road Projects to TMR (or any other Australian Road Construction Authority) Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications and be able to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and standards.
  • Keen observation skills to identify conforming and/or 'non-conforming' Road Construction materials and practices.
  • Confidently use a mobile phone or tablet to take, store, and upload photos to Government portals (cloud storage).
  • Prepare written documents, including daily diaries and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and keep them informed of progress and quality of works.
  • Provide effective administration and documentation as required.
  • Provide a professional commitment to the health and safety of staff, contractors, and site visitors in line with company policy.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management, and email are a distinct advantage.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years' practical experience in 'Road Works Construction.'
  • At least 2 years' crew supervision of Road Projects to TMR (or any other Australian Road Construction Authority) Standards.
  • Must have a driver's license and have access to own transport to/from home to site.
  • Prefers someone already living in Brisbane or Queensland or willing to relocate there.
  • Nominally 40 hours per week, although no guarantee there won't be more or less hours due to project demands. Some Saturday and Sunday work may be required but this is anticipated to be minimal.
