Live Performance Technicians Wanted

Casual theatre technicians are required to assist in the delivery of live performances and events at a leading arts and culture centre.
We seek skilled individuals with experience and qualifications in live production, technical services, and entertainment industry practices.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and effectively collaborate with other team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing technical support for various theatre programs, including dance, music, multi-media, film, and special events.
- Assisting in the setup, operation, and strike of equipment for live performances and events.
- Working closely with the Technical Producer, Engagement and Hire Officer, and Curatorial Team to ensure smooth event execution.
- At least 3 years' experience and/or qualifications in live production, technical services, and entertainment industry practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
This position is subject to the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and the relevant Codes of Practice.
