Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Partnership Growth Strategist to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) team in Australia and New Zealand. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth and adoption of AWS cloud services among startups, systems integrators, and consulting companies.

About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with partners, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth. Your exceptional communication skills, combined with your experience in sales and business development, will enable you to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior executives and founders on buying decisions.

As a Cloud Partnership Growth Strategist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including account management, product management, and solution architect teams, to ensure seamless execution of partner engagements and deliver quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute partnership growth strategies to expand AWS footprint and drive new customer engagements with partners.
  • Build deep and trusted relationships with interdependent stakeholders, including direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, product management, and account management teams.
  • Advise customers and commercial sales teams on the value of partners, engagement, and recommend qualified partners to support customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Partner Solution Architects (PSA) to ensure partners deliver quality results and work with Partner Development Managers (PDM) on engaging their partners with the right customers within the local market.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales or business development in the software/technology industry.
  • Experience working with partners through account management, product management, program management, and business development engagements.
  • Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to navigate effectively across internal and external organizations and stakeholders.
