Job Description">

Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and skilled Cafe Chef who can work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are seeking an individual with a passion for food, excellent preparation skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking café-style breakfast and lunch items, including poached, fried, and scrambled eggs, big breakfasts, sandwiches, and salads.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain quality and consistency in food presentation, adhering to our set standards.
  2. Manage high-volume food preparation efficiently while ensuring all orders are delivered on time.
  3. Operate electronic kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  4. Assist with all-rounder tasks, including customer service, food and drink restocking, and dishwashing if needed.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and workstations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent culinary skills, including preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
