Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated professional to drive continuous improvement of our quality assurance approach. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating the deployment of quality systems and inspection processes within the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective quality assurance strategies, policies, and processes to ensure top-tier product quality.
  • Leading the inspection of fruits to meet specifications for size, appearance, taste, and shelf life.
  • Maintaining compliance with national and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, SQF, and other relevant quality standards.
  • Collaborating with production and packaging teams to identify quality issues and work proactively to resolve them.
  • Oversight of all aspects of quality control, including produce inspection, and documentation.
  • Conducting regular audits of suppliers and distribution facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have;

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance management, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, ideally within the fresh produce, agriculture, or food manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and other quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues proactively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in developing and maintaining successful quality frameworks and proven experience delivering business outcomes through management system processes.
