Job Title: Power Network Operator

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Power Network Operator to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and essential plant operation support to electrical line workers.
  • Complete risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each site.
  • Collaborate with various teams to safely upgrade and maintain the electrical network.
  • Complete tasks within designated time frames to meet customer requirements.

About You: To succeed in this role, you require demonstrated previous experience operating similar equipment in a construction or utilities environment, together with a strong focus on safety and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence with HR or HC endorsement.
  • High Risk Work Licence C2 Crane endorsement (as minimum).
  • A strong understanding of electrical safety practices, along with knowledge of relevant electrical legislation, codes, and industry standards.
