About the Opportunity

As a Decision Specialist, you will undertake complex investigative and analytical work that impacts operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of disputed decisions and provide fair, reasonable, and timely outcomes.
  • Write clear and logical decisions with supporting findings and material.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and provide support and learning opportunities.
  • Communicate decision outcomes to relevant parties in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with employers, employees, and other parties regarding the review process.

About You

  • You have experience as an expert or specialist in a framework.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work independently under pressure.
  • You have knowledge of legislation and a statutory framework.
  • You have skills in conflict resolution and facilitation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting reviews or formal investigations.
  • Highly developed knowledge of a statutory framework.
  • Able to assess arguments and reach logical conclusions.
  • Able to write sound decisions capable of withstanding scrutiny.
  • Capacity to deal effectively with various stakeholders.
