Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grain Operator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. As a key member of the receival operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and out-loading of grain.

About the Role
  • Operate plant and equipment to move and store bulk grain, with training in Nationally Recognised Competencies such as Front-End Loader and Skid Steer.
  • Safely receive, store, and out-load grain, identifying contaminated grain and maintaining its quality.
  • Maintain the condition of grain within the storage system through hygiene activities, working in confined spaces and at heights.

This role involves regular travel between receival sites in your designated area, providing opportunities for leadership development during harvest.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold an unrestricted and valid driver's licence with own reliable vehicle.
  • Be deemed physically fit in accordance with operational worker pre-employment medical standards.
  • Be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with high grain dust concentration.
