As a skilled fabricator, you will be responsible for building new equipment and working on the assembly of parts and components with high-quality work within set timeframes, meeting production demands with attention to detail and efficiency.
About The Role- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential in this position as it requires the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- A proactive attitude toward safety, quality, and cleanliness is critical in the manufacture and refurbishment of service trucks and/or watercarts.
- The ideal candidate must have a passion for learning and following instructions to adhere to processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and excellent time management skills are also required.
- Fabrication Trade Certificate or Vehicle Body Building, Confined Space Entry/Gas Test Atmosphere, Working at Heights, Forklift License, Overhead Crane/Dogging certification, Elevated Working Platform certification, and Skills Assessment/Weld Test are desirable qualifications.
You will be required to pass a medical checkup including drug and alcohol testing. Random drug and alcohol testing will also be carried out on site. Additionally, you must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role.
