Production Assembly Technician

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Assembly Technician to join our Melbourne-based team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and repairing medical devices, ensuring high-quality products meet strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, modify, and repair medical devices in line with quality and safety processes and standards.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet production schedules and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Communicate effectively, escalating and proposing solutions to issues as they arise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Experience with soldering activities and handheld power tools.
- Previous work experience in a production environment, preferably working with electronics, electrical, or communication technology.
- Certificate III in Electronics & Communications or related qualifications (desired).
- Familiarity with SAP or other inventory management tools (advantageous).
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and pride in maintaining a clean workstation.
- Interest in personal development and electronics.
