Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Operations Technician to join our Infrastructure/Drainage Department in Ivanhoe. This is a casual position that involves working with the drain cleaning team on a drain sucker truck and supporting various civil infrastructure tasks.

About the Role

This role will require you to operate drain sucker trucks to clean storm water pits and unblock drains, as well as assist with concrete works, asphalting, storm water pit repairs, and street signage repairs. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving customer drainage issues and completing requests within agreed timelines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a basic knowledge of storm water drainage and civil works, as well as safe operation of HR trucks and other machinery. You must also hold an HR (Heavy Rigid) Driving Licence, Backhoe Certificates, Front End Loader (Skid Steer) Licences, Forklift Licences, Traffic Control Card (current), and a National Police Check.
