Finance Business Partner Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Business Performance team. This role is responsible for collaborating with operations and Centre Support Office to provide expert advice, analysis, ongoing support and guidance to drive performance and profitability of our business.

This position plays a key role in partnering with business operational teams to deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations that drive growth, profitability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Planning: Preparation and implementation of the annual budget including maintaining the budget model, assisting business units with analysis and process, and ensuring timely input of information from all stakeholders.
  • Financial Forecasting: Support the financial and operational re-forecast on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Business Performance Management: Actively manage business performance against budget.
  • Profitability Analysis: Review P&L's, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Implementation of Fee Increases: Assist with the implementation of yearly fee increases ensuring timely input from all business units.
  • Revenue Maximisation: Maximize revenue through analysis of our customers & competitors.
  • Forecasting Systems: Ensure systems are established and maintained to manage and support short-term bottom-up forecasting, particularly of revenue and wages.
  • Centre Operations: Provide financial information, analysis and direction on centre operations that require attention from key stakeholders.
  • Management Support: Offer support and guidance to Management, seeking initiatives to outperform targets and mitigating risks.
  • Strategic Financial Insights: Provide strategic, forward-looking financial insights to help drive growth.
  • Cost Efficiency: Deliver cost efficiencies through improved visibility, wage control, roster analysis and optimisation recommendations.
  • Coaching and Financial Management: Provide expert advice and guidance to support ongoing coaching and financial management capabilities across the business.
  • Performance Reporting: Scope and brief new performance reports in Tableau to facilitate user self-service reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business / accounting or related field.
  • Professional Qualifications: Qualified Accountant, studying towards or equivalent experience.
  • Service Industry Experience: Service industry experience analysing profitability and driving profit growth.
  • Commercial Management Experience: Commercial Management / Financial Analyst experience.
  • Partnership Experience: Practical experience partnering business operational teams.

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
