Senior Software Engineering Manager

This position plays a pivotal role in guiding a talented development team, driving technical excellence, and delivering high-impact projects. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the agile software development life cycle, mentor and uplift team members, and communicate software engineering best practices across product delivery teams.

A successful candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented language, proficiency in SOLID engineering, and knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be able to take the lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, demonstrate confidence in stakeholder management, and possess excellent communication skills. They will also have experience in development of service-oriented architectures and proficiency in object-oriented design skills.

In this role, you will participate in hiring engineers with a focus on high communication, high empathy, and pragmatic quality. You will also be accountable for time-boxed delivery of features to customers and second-level support for existing and created features by the product delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a product delivery team through the agile software development life cycle.
  • Mentor and uplift the capability of the members of the team.
  • Advocate and communicate software engineering best practices across product delivery teams.
  • Be accountable for time-boxed delivery of features to customers.
  • Provide second-level support for existing and created features by the product delivery team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented language.
  • Proficiency in SOLID engineering.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in development of service-oriented architectures.
  • Object-oriented design skills.
