About the Role

This is a pivotal position within our residential care program, where you will be instrumental in providing case management support for children and young people with complex needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with caregivers to ensure high-quality care and services are delivered. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive case management support to vulnerable children and young people
  • Supervising caregivers and conducting regular assessments to ensure best practice
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in care delivery
  • Maintaining compliance with occupational health and safety standards

To excel in this role, you will require strong expertise in child welfare practice, trauma-informed care, and Aboriginal cultural competency.

Key Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of child welfare principles and practices
  • Proven experience in trauma-informed care and supporting vulnerable populations
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and values
  • Degree in Social Work or related field
