This role involves making administrative infringement review decisions in accordance with Council policies and procedures. You will ensure procedural fairness and confidentiality is applied in all circumstances, and draft and produce correspondence as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make administrative infringement review decisions in accordance with Council policies and procedures.

  • Draft and produce correspondence.

Key Criteria:

  • Experience reviewing applications and the supporting evidence to make a decision.
  • Interpret legislation and make technical recommendations.
  • Knowledge of the Local Government Act 1989 and 2020, Infringements Act 2016, Victorian Road Rules, Domestic Animals Act and Council's General Local Laws.
  • Local council experience.
