About the Role

This position requires a skilled professional to provide advice, guidance, and problem-solving support in equipment operation and maintenance by applying Lean Manufacturing and Business Improvement methodologies.

The ideal candidate will design and implement Business Improvement principles in each department, develop creative approaches and solutions, facilitate improvement of equipment and people utilisation, identify and implement cost reduction opportunities, monitor execution progress, and ensure timely delivery of planned improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Design and implement Business Improvement principles across departments.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Facilitate the optimisation of equipment and personnel usage.
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and deliver results on time.
  • Conduct risk assessments and create contingency plans.

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent operations/industry experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing/line areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coach leadership teams in Quality Management/Learn Manufacturing concepts.
  • Able to influence and motivate individuals or groups at all organisational levels.
  • High-level understanding of team dynamics.
  • Practical knowledge of Business Improvement methods.
  • Familiarity with business functions and processes desired but not essential.
