Project Financial Manager

The Senior Project Accountant will be responsible for managing project and management accounting activities, including financial and management accounting deliverables, budgeting, and forecasting tasks.
- Act as a finance liaison with clients, escalating issues and collaborating with them to find resolutions
- Ensure timely delivery of monthly reports and analyses for clients and internal stakeholders
- Complete various end-of-month deliverables efficiently
- Collaborate closely with project controls to ensure accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting activities are completed
- Provide insightful analysis on project performance to support senior management in making informed decisions
Key Qualifications:
- Accounting degree or equivalent qualification; professional certifications like CPA/CA are advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Prior experience in oil and gas or construction project accounting is essential
- Able to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills. They should also be proficient in financial software and have experience working with project management tools.
