Ramsay Health Care is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital. As a key member of our rehabilitation services, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in our inpatient acute and day rehabilitation facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in our inpatient acute and day rehabilitation facilities, with a focus on promoting independence and functional ability.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to promote patient outcomes and improve functional ability.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy from a recognized tertiary institution.
- AHPRA registration and current professional membership.
- Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting, with a focus on acute medical and surgical wards.
- Demonstrated expertise in occupational therapy practice, with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
