We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs team as a Head of Communications on a 12-month career break. This role exists to drive the company's communication and engagement with stakeholders, including employees, investors, media, government, and the wider community.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to key functional roles across investor relations, internal communication, and government relations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to build trust, understanding, and engagement with the company's strategy and purpose.
  • Lead and deliver the company's engagement with the investment community, including shareholders, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage media engagement and crisis communication functions.
  • Provide counsel to executive and Board members on stakeholder management risks and opportunities.

About Your Expertise

To succeed in this role, you must have significant experience working in corporate affairs and/or investor relations. You should possess knowledge of the mining and resources sector and experience working for an ASX listed business.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • An influential communication style and proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex strategic, financial, and market-related information.
  • Established networks across funds management, sell-side analysts, investment banking, media, and broader industry.
  • A strong track record of building relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience and confidence in working with Executive and Board members.
  • A Bachelor-level qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Communication, or a related field.

Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
