Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate care to children and young people with mental health needs. You will work closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based interventions and support the development of individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and young people with mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
- Participate in professional development and education to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in mental health nursing
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
