We are seeking a seasoned cost planner to join our organization.
Job DescriptionThis senior role will involve working closely with the business unit to deliver tenders and pricing work, while building key relationships to strengthen our presence in the market.
- Develop and implement cost plans for multiple tenders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Nurture strong relationships with clients and quantity surveyors to identify future opportunities and build a pipeline of potential projects.
- Provide expert cost planning advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Evaluate preliminary estimates and forecasts against construction programs, identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee tender submissions and schedules, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of subcontractor trade markets, selecting suitable subcontractors for each project.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in construction management or quantity surveying.
- No less than 10 years' experience working as a senior cost planner for a Tier 1/2 contractor.
- Proven track record of delivering tenders in the building sector across NSW.
- An approachable personality with a strong work ethic, able to build trust with clients and colleagues alike.
