Job Title:

Assistant Examinations Officer (Term-time only plus 4 weeks)


The Role:

The Assistant Examinations Officer is responsible for supporting the administration, organization and smooth running of all internal and external examinations ensuring compliance with regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. To ensure the security and confidentiality of systems.
  2. To ensure effective communication procedures are in place for students, parents, carers and colleagues.
  3. Collate and sort examination entries.
  4. Compile transcripts for current and past pupils.
  5. Manage exam timetables, room allocation and notifications.
  6. Submit entries to examination boards and check invoices.
  7. Liaise with Learning Support regarding Access Arrangements.
  8. Produce seating plans and attendance sheets.
  9. Collate scripts, check against attendance sheets and arrange collection.
  10. Prepare results for distribution to pupils.
  11. Forward results to Senior Management Team.

Working Conditions:

This role may require you to work under pressure and be flexible. You will need to have excellent time management skills and be able to work to deadlines.


Requirements:
  • Education to A Level or equivalent.
  • Efficient administrative skills, organisation, planning, prioritisation, discretion, flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues.
