Job Title:Assistant Examinations Officer (Term-time only plus 4 weeks)
The Role:
The Assistant Examinations Officer is responsible for supporting the administration, organization and smooth running of all internal and external examinations ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the security and confidentiality of systems.
- To ensure effective communication procedures are in place for students, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Collate and sort examination entries.
- Compile transcripts for current and past pupils.
- Manage exam timetables, room allocation and notifications.
- Submit entries to examination boards and check invoices.
- Liaise with Learning Support regarding Access Arrangements.
- Produce seating plans and attendance sheets.
- Collate scripts, check against attendance sheets and arrange collection.
- Prepare results for distribution to pupils.
- Forward results to Senior Management Team.
Working Conditions:
This role may require you to work under pressure and be flexible. You will need to have excellent time management skills and be able to work to deadlines.
Requirements:
- Education to A Level or equivalent.
- Efficient administrative skills, organisation, planning, prioritisation, discretion, flexibility and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues.
