Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Linde. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy duty plant and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and complete safety reports as required
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing and repairs on heavy duty plant and vehicles
  • Diagnose and resolve vehicle/plant failures
  • Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses
  • Manage unplanned breakdowns and mechanical failures
  • Complete administrative tasks, including paperwork and team meetings
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workshop operations

Requirements

  • Relevant trade qualification - Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Current knowledge of industry sector and working practices of heavy duty plant/vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Desirable qualifications include HR Licence, MC Licence, Dangerous Good Licence, Forklift High Risk Licence, and Confined Space Training/Competency
