Position Description

This senior electrical/control engineer role involves using strategic business knowledge and technical expertise to drive project execution and develop tools and systems for the resources sector.

Main Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Controls Engineering: Design concepts into completed engineering deliverables.
  • Technical leadership: Deliver exceptional value to clients through high-quality solutions aligning with project objectives.
  • Team management: Provide technical guidance and advice to a growing team of electrical/control engineers and the wider team.
  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration: Support designers in developing designs for various plant and infrastructure projects.
About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a passion for discovery and commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety. Strong relationship-building and communication skills are essential in this role.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of multidiscipline engineering experience in the mining and resources sector.
  • Exposure to Control Systems (SCADA, PLC, RTU). Proven design experience as a LV, VSD's, Instrumentation engineer able to produce calculations and design documentation.
  • Practical experience in construction, commissioning, or operations in bulk materials and minerals processing industries.
  • Good presentation and communication skills at all levels.
  • Awareness and collaboration across multiple disciplines.
