About the Role:
VetPartners is seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time fixed-term contract. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our veterinary clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including nursing duties, monitoring anaesthetics, and performing in-house pathology
- Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of the team, to ensure seamless clinic operations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to veterinary clinic standards and protocols
Requirements:
- Certificate IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Experience with EzyVet and IDEXX blood machines is highly regarded
