Refuge Case Management Support Worker Title Details About the Role

The role provides onsite support to adults and children experiencing or having experienced family violence, requiring refuge and crisis accommodation. It involves working as part of a dynamic team to undertake tasks directly supporting the Case Management team(s) in delivering high-quality client-centred support.

Working closely with Case Managers, arranging practical supports for clients, including childcare, medical care, material aid, and transport. Maintaining accurate record-keeping and documentation is crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimising service efficiency and effectiveness by arranging practical supports and streamlining administrative processes.
  • Ensuring seamless service delivery and timely access to support and resources for adult and child clients of refuge.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

A values-driven person motivated to make a difference, placing the client at the centre of everything. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment is essential.

A certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, community development, or a related field is required, along with a foundational understanding of family violence dynamics and impacts.
