Trade Mechanic Position

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Mechanic to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of mechanical fitting tasks across projects, ensuring conformance to client requirements and specifications. They will provide daily updates on task pack status and inform supervisors of resource shortages required to complete delegated tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project supervisors in the management of task packs, inclusive of ITP and SWMS
  • Deliver on-the-job training to employees under their supervision and provide constructive feedback on their performance
  • Report WHS issues encountered onsite and comply with client and site requirements as directed

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30219/05) or higher
  • Construction White Card
  • C Class Licence

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrate ability to read and understand engineering schematics/drawings and repair specifications
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and stairwells as required in Marine Sites
