Lead Quality and Safety in a Critical Care Environment
">- As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality and safety initiatives in one of NSW's busiest ICUs and PICUs. You will review clinical incidents, transform data into meaningful actions, and enhance patient outcomes.
- You will support and monitor improvement programs, ensure alignment with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, and play a vital role in accreditation processes.
- Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate ICU/PICU Clinical Quality and Patient Care meetings to ensure key issues are identified, addressed, and actioned.
- Collaborate across disciplines by working closely with clinicians, nurse managers, medical directors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
- Contribute to continuous learning and system improvement through audits, action planning, staff education, and accreditation preparation.
The Role Highlights:
- Lead a team of professionals to drive quality and safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinicians, nurse managers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with national standards.
- Monitor and report on quality and safety metrics to inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve staff knowledge and skills.
