Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Safety Health Professional to join our team in Northam, working full-time hours on a fixed-term contract until June 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the safety function for the Wheatbelt area, including site inspections and audits, facilitating toolbox meetings and incident management.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant experience in safety, preferably in an operational organisation, with a sound understanding of WHS regulations and mentoring/coaching experience. You should also hold certifications such as Cert 4 WHS, Lead Investigation and Internal Auditor certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the safety function for the Wheatbelt area, including site inspections and audits.
- Facilitate toolbox meetings for routine maintenance and direct managed work crews.
- Investigate incidents and develop reports and follow-up procedures.
- Manage records using MRWA systems and software.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
