About the Team

The Automation & Control Systems Engineering team is experiencing continued growth with local and national projects kicking off.

This has opened opportunities in our Adelaide team for an experienced Automation & Control Systems Engineer.

You will be well-versed in design and related programming of control systems in various industries, able to connect and work with your multidiscipline team and think outside the box to meet client requirements and achieve project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver process control systems for mining, water and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Design and implementation skills for capability with PLC and RTU platforms (i.e. Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Emerson).
  • Experience with SCADA design and implementation skills particularly for GeoSCADA, CitectSCADA, FT View, OpenEnterprise and others.
  • Application of industrial internet / Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics.
Requirements
  • Strong experience preferably from water, mining and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Degree level qualifications in either Electrical, Control Systems or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB and VBS preferred but not essential.
Non-Mandatory Skills
  • Knowledge in MES System design and implementation skills particularly for AMPLA, Historian (Pi)
  • Knowledge in Model Predictive Control (MPC) design and implementation (i.e. Rockwell Automation or similar)
  • Exposure to networks (i.e., Cisco and others)
