About the Role:

  • Develop and implement engaging Religious Education programs for Years 7-12 that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all students.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver curriculum that is relevant, challenging, and engaging, with opportunities for student choice and autonomy.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, using data to inform instruction and drive student growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to provide targeted support for students who require additional assistance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Master of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, PGCE) with a focus on Religious Education or a related field.
  • Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain) and Working rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain).
  • Experience working with students in a classroom setting, with a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
