Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Front End Web Developer to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will have strong CSS skills and be comfortable building/modifying master style sheets for web applications. They will work closely with our design team to transform Figma pages into working HTML/CSS/JavaScript pages, which will then be integrated with our existing back-end system. This role is part of our Rapid Application Development process to define and validate product features and functionality.

In the first couple of months, the role will transition to building a React App based on defined functionality, creating components and composable pages using these components with Unit/Functionality testing built-in. If you don't know React already, you will have the opportunity to learn and make a significant impact in the development of our online presence. As we progress, you will also have the chance to develop your skills further down the React path as we build and release a full-featured ReactNative app for iOS and Android.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in web development.
  • A strong understanding of core JavaScript and a background in building complex single-page applications to a high standard.
  • Technical expertise in React.
  • Strong CSS and HTML skills.
  • A good understanding of web application architecture.
  • Background in delivering key features in a product.

Bonus Points

  • GCP DevOps experience.
  • Experience in the payments or fintech industry.
  • Prior experience building slick, smooth, and responsive user interfaces with React Native.
