Strategic Procurement Professional Sought

We are looking for a skilled individual to support the delivery of key objectives within our organisation.

The successful candidate will have confidence in executing elements of the procurement life cycle, strong stakeholder engagement, and an understanding of our strategic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop procurement documentation in consultation with stakeholders, using Commonwealth panel arrangements and/or adhering to our procurement framework.
  • Plan and deliver procurement activities, develop RFx documentation, support evaluations, and contract negotiations that demonstrate value for money.
  • Inform and deliver upon project key milestones, work collaboratively to develop performance management methodologies that encourage strong performance.
  • Deliver and/or negotiate value-based outcomes for business areas, use contract and vendor management tools; manage risks and issues.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing procurement documentation in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Sound ICT knowledge and understanding of procurement enabling programs.
  • Ideal certification is a Cert IV or higher qualification in Procurement and Contract Management.
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must have an Australian Security Clearance through AGSVA, or be an Australian citizen able to obtain one.
